Are you only playing those games ? if yes then I would recommend against the other two that was recommended since they are more for gaming not for college that can run light games on th side, instead I would recommend this Acer Swift 3 because it comes with everything you need , 7th gen i5 dual core CPU which is one of the best in the market and great for your usage, 8 GB of ram for smooth multitasking, Good SSD storage of 256 GB for faster boot up and loading, Full HD IPS screen which is a must have for this price range, high build quality, very good battery life, USB type C, very light weight at 3.31 lbs and it is within your budget.

There are quite few good options, but since you consider USB type C is a good plus I would recommend either this Acer Swift 3 because it comes with everything you need , 7th gen i5 dual core CPU which is one of the best in the market and great for your usage, 8 GB of ram for smooth multitasking, Good SSD storage of 256 GB for faster boot up and loading, Full HD IPS screen which is a must have for this price range, high build quality, very good battery life, USB type C, very light weight at 3.31 lbs and it is within your budget.

The other recommendation would be this ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360CA because it comes with very similar specs, price point, weight and battery life.

I assume you are referring this acer ? the aspire I linked, is lighter (0.41 lb might not feel like much but your back will appreciate it when you have it in backpack on daily basis for few hours a day), it has smaller screen, and 2 in 1 features and slightly better battery life.
