Oh, these both are 60Hz. Just looking at these two, Predator indeed looks like better value. In general if the device isn’t saying it’s refresh rate it’s 60 or 75Hz – because 120/144Hz would be a great selling point to people who know what it means. If you watch some video comparisons or whatever, it’s hard to personally tell on a 60Hz screen, but anyone who tried gaming with 120Hz+ would never want to go back.
If you don’t mind the tacky aesthetics of MSI, they have a lot of great options for the price range such as GE63VR.
GL703VM by Asus is currently on sale(as newer models have came out) and for 1400$ it also looks like a fairly good purchase to make.
For myself in particular I’m looking at a somewhat pricier model by ASUS, the GL703GS. It’s new model and has just about everything I would want in a laptop.
