Hi,

My recommendation stays the same still:

>In your price range, I don’t think a GTX laptop needed any longer. An RTX 2070 laptop is a better fit. If you’re wondering about the Mech-17, you can **check the older listing** with the GTX 1060 graphics card, it has hundreds of reviews. The chassis has not changed, so I think that the **RTX 2070 configuration** is a good mix for you when it comes to performance and cooling. The RTX 2070 graphics card should perform similar to the GTX 1080 graphics card, while costing less. The i7-8750H processor is more future proof as well.

>Let me know if you have any questions.

Most of the configurations are a good balance between RAM and storage.

i7-8750H or gtx 1080

Hi,

For a 17″ gaming device, I recommend the **Eluktronics Mech-17**, it has the best performance for the price. Lots of laptops, even with a 17″ display, lack in a good cooling system for its components. This isn’t the case with this laptop, thermals are excellent.

With the 6-core i7 processor and GTX 1060 graphics card, you can run video editing software and games. 16 GB RAM should be enough for video editing, but you can always upgrade if needed

The laptop includes a number pad. This configuration is surprisingly at a low price currently… the 15.6″ alternative, which is usually cheaper, costs around $1,500 for the same configuration.

Let me know if you have any questions!
