Need moderate gaming laptop suggestions ~1000 USD Budget

I would recommend this Eluktronics N870HK1 because it comes with everything you need , i7 quad core CPU which is one of the best in the market and great for gaming, 8 GB of ram for smooth multitasking, 1 TB if HDD for your storage, Full HD 17.3 IPS screen which is a must have for this price range just like you wanted, high build quality, good battery life, 1050 Ti GPU that should be able to handle the games you mentioned on medium to high settings with very good FPs and also the best for your budget, and it is within your budget.

If the SSD is a must then you can get this config but it is slightly outside your budget.

Suggest a new gaming laptop for me around $1,100?

My best suggestion would be the Eluktronics N870 17.3” gaming laptop for $1050. It will have a ton of power and a good value for your budget, but it will have a mediocre battery life (you won’t find any 17.3” laptops with even a decent battery life).

It’s specs are a new Kaby lake i7-7700HQ processor, 8gb of ram, and a 1TB HDD. It also has a new GTX 1050 Ti graphics card which will easily accommodate your gaming needs and more, being a pretty damn powerful graphics card. It also has an excellent build quality, good cooling, and other perks like a backlit keyboard.

Picky request; any 17" laptop with 1050Ti and DVD drive under $1000?

There is the Sager NP6872 with a GTX 1050 Ti for $1000, but it doesn’t have an optical drive. You can get it also on Amazon from Eluktronics.

But than again you can get a laptop with a GTX 1060 if you live near a Micro Center:

Still doesn’t have a CD/DVD drive though.

As for suggestions with a CD/DVD drive … they are hard find. Maybe wait till there is a deal on the HP Omen 17t or HP offers a coupon for it.
